Videoconference for teachers and students (2020.12.16)

Wednesday, December 16, the Meet environment hosted the first international video conference for teachers and students in the ERASMUS + project. More than 61 students aged 12 to 17 from five countries (Germany, Spain, Portugal, Lithuania and Slovenia) participated in the meeting. The meeting was intended to meet our "friends" (correspondents) for whom we made and sent Christmas and New Year greeting cards. As our work will continue for some time in the distance we are sure there will be many more such interesting meetings. After the introductory greeting, the students were divided into 5 groups and introduced themselves to their peers from the other countries. All pupils took part and presented themselves and their schools very well in English.

There was much excitement and joyful moments!

By the way, here are some student comments after the video meeting:

- About Google meets: I really like it, I would attend again!

- I’m very glad that I can chat with foreign friends. We are friends and I wish we can meet.

- Meeting in Google meets was a good experience, we could talk with other project members.

- I think this project is a good way   to practice English and make new friends.

- I like the meeting,  wish that we meet again,  because  everyone was

 friendly.

- The opinion about the project is very good, I am glad to be here, I can learn a lot and meet a lot of good people.

Videoconference for teachers and students (2021.04.21)

April 21, 2021 The Lithuanian teachers' team of Mažeikiai Pavasaris Basic school multilateral Erasmus+ project “H.E.L.P” had a responsible day. The Lithuanian team had to create an interactive game on the Kahoot platform that would allow students to get to know the project countries better. By the way, each project partner sent 10 questions with possible answers. Lithuania also coordinated the Google Meet student and teacher meeting and managed a battle of fifty questions. More than half a hundred students were involved in the synchronous battle game. Emotions poured over the edges, each participant sought to snatch the victory ... But the fastest reaction and exceptional knowledge was shown by Daniel from Spain who won first place!!! Congratulations, Daniel!!! We are happy and proud of the students who have honorably represented their schools and countries!
