A project called “H.E.L.P.”

Partners are from in various parts of Europe; Spain (Tenerife), Portugal, Germany, Slovenia and Lithuania. The focus here is on the forest biosphere. Forest damage due to fire, drought, pests, the loss and use of the diversity of human insects unites all actors. Forest ecosystem is considered at different levels. The damage done is intended to be shown and linked together, also in collaboration with experts, must develop strategies to reduce them. Students are introduced to other European countries and their own ecological problems. The impact on their own lives has been clarified so that we work together to achieve goal-oriented solutions. The environmentally friendly benefits to the individual are also taken into account. This project is implemented by creating permanent school working groups, production of information materials such as brochures or flyers, insect hotels or traps, cooperation with specialists, active work in the forest and creation of a personal portfolio. By managing the forest and creating natural meadows, students can accurately and directly keep track of changes and influences nearby. European exchanges are ensured through a variety of media and platforms (ETwinning, video conferencing, WhatsApp groups, homepage) and country meetings. Participants' outcomes and learning growth are regularly assessed and documented. This approach is designed to encourage participating students to become familiar with different cultures and landscapes know and evaluate, overcome prejudices and xenophobia, their foreign language skills and expand your communication skills, increase your self-steem and learn how to use digital media again eventually get better job opportunities. Every school strives for change to use it sustainably in the school building and premises and thus to maintain active protection of the environment to get.
